Despite stock supply issues, the sale of the iPhone 3G is a success in Belgium. Thousands of 3G iPhones have already been sold since the launch on 11 July latest.
Benoit Scheen, the C.E.O of Mobistar, interview with Le Soir did not fail to indicate that this problem of delivery of 3G iPhones depended on Apple :
We have regular deliveries of iPhones, but they are still well below demand. Deliveries Depend on Apple's Production Capacity explains Mr. Scheen.
In addition, these stock-outs should be resolved by the end of summer according to Mobistar.
The boss of Mobistar remembered that sales of 3G iPhones were not in no way conditioned getting a 3G subscription specific (see our article here)
