In association with the accessories manufacturer Fellowes, the German specialist in photo optics Carl ZEISS has developed a new system of optical mounts for iPhone, the range of which has been called ExoLens.
High definition fans are in the spotlight since Apple is considering implementing two photo sensors on its future iPhone for more performance (read: Apple: soon two photo sensors on the iPhone 7?). For those not inclined to wait for this deadline, ZEISS offers a new range of optics available in three lenses: macro, wide-angle O, 6x and 2x tele for Apple smartphones.
In detail, the macros include Vario-Proxar elements, and have their own zoom. The windshields are made of Mutar components and are IP67 certified against splashes as well as splashing water and dust. Regarding the frame, users will be entitled to a flat and unique design.
Note that the ExoLens can be used on the current iPhone 6 and 6S, both for standard models (4.7 inches) and Plus models (5.5 inches). For the moment, the price is not indicated, but marketing is planned for the second half of this year.
