According to Xiaomi, its new biometric technology corrects two major flaws. First, owners will be able to unlock their phone in one gesture. Today, they sometimes need to scan their fingerprints several times before they can do this. The Chinese firm also increases the surface of the concerned area of the screen. Current technologies limit the function on a predefined area or point, thus limiting the possibilities offered to users.
