Last April, Xiaomi launched the development of the MIUI 13 update, the version that will replace the recently announced MIUI 12.5 overlay. But since April, the Chinese manufacturer has not mentioned the arrival of the future interface.

While digging through the HTML code of the official MIUI website, The Tech Guy, renowned developer and leaker, found several mentions of MIUI 13 update. The Internet user is used to searching the source code of Xiaomi applications and sites to find information on the manufacturer’s plans.

A few months ago, Xiaomi indeed confirmed the arrival of a new smartphone from the Mi Mix range, the last iteration of which dates back to 2018. The company even launched an official account for the Mi Mix on Sina Weibo, the Chinese social network.

At the last news, this future flagship would be covered with a 120 Hz screen with very curved edges. Xiaomi would work on 2 different versions of its Mi Mix 4. The Chinese firm would also integrate MIUI 13 on the future Mi Note 11. As a reminder, Xiaomi launched the Mi Note 10 during the month of November 2019. Its successor should land in the coming months.

It is rumored that the final and stable version of the MIUI 13 update will not be released until the second half of 2021. As always, Xiaomi will first allow users to test the interface in beta. True to form, the manufacturer should unveil all the new features of the update from April 2021. We’ll tell you more as soon as possible.
