Chinese giant Xiaomi seems determined to follow in the footsteps of the American manufacturer Apple by offering the Mi notebook Pro, an ultra portable computer which seems to have characteristics quite close to what the Apple brand MacBook Pro can display.
A year ago, the Chinese brand Xiaomi had unveiled its first Mi Notebook Air laptop which seemed to have taken over the design of Apple’s MacBook Air. This year, the Chinese manufacturer chose the same vein for its inspiration and found in the MacBook Pro a technical sheet to match. Under its metal shell, the Mi notebook Pro incorporates the latest generation of Intel Core i7 processor. Equipped with a GeForce MX 150 graphics card, signed Nvidia, it has a 15.6 inch screen. The laptop is capable of mounting up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of SSD storage. It has a 3-in-1 card reader, two USB-C ports, two USB 3.0 ports and an HDMI video output. Its touchpad that is both precise and wide also incorporates a fingerprint sensor.
The Mi notebook Pro is available for around 820 euros, which is roughly half the price of a MacBook Pro. Xiaomi’s new laptop is only sold in China at the moment.
