Like every month, Microsoft renews the catalog of games available through the Games With Gold subscription. On the menu for this harvest in January 2021: Little Nightmares, Dead Rising, The King of Fighters XIII and Breakdown.
Microsoft has just unveiled the 4 titles that will be offered in January 2021 to Xbox Games With Gold subscribers. And like every month, it is heavy. Subscribers to the service will not be disappointed, that’s for sure. Remember that the price of the Gold subscription is set at € 6.99 / month, but it is also included in the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate offer. Sold for € 12.99 / month (the first 3 months are € 1), this subscription also gives access to more than a hundred titles on console, PC and Android (via xCloud).
Xbox Games With Gold: Here are the free games for January 2020 available on Xbox Series, Xbox One and Xbox 360
We advise you to start the month by taking a look at Little nightmares, which places you in the shoes of a little girl in a yellow raincoat and held prisoner on a ship. Particularity of it? To be filled with creatures, each more frightening than the last. And if you really like oppressive games, but this time with a good dose of humor, we also recommend you Dead Rising. In this game remastered for the Xbox One at 1080p and 60fps, you find yourself in a zombie-littered shopping mall. You will have to do everything you can to survive for the next 72 hours, which will be very complicated.
- Little nightmares : download from January 1 to 31, 2021
- Dead Rising : download from January 16 to February 15, 2021
Xbox 360 and Xbox
- The King of Fighters XIII : download from January 1 to 15, 2021
- Breakdown : download from January 16 to 31, 2021
As for titles from older console generations, we find this month Breakdown, a title released on the very first Xbox. You play as Derrick Cole, a character with superpowers who finds himself locked in a laboratory. We are also taking advantage this month of The King of Fighters XIII, for its part from the Xbox 360. Released in 2010 in arcade and the following year on the Microsoft console, this new episode of the successful license shows that fighting games have lost none of their splendor. This is probably the one we’ll start with in January, but that’s just a matter of taste, after all.
Finally, note that these titles also work on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S thanks to the backward compatibility system put in place by Microsoft.
