Samsung has just unveiled its X170, an 11.6-inch ultraportable in the colors of the famous Barbie doll.
Based on a low consumption platform, the X170 is built around a processor of the Core 2 Duo generation, clocked at 1.3 GHz (SU7300). The latter is accompanied by 4 GB of RAM and a 500 GB hard drive. The graphics part of the machine is provided by an honorable GMA 4500MHD. Coupled with the low consumption processor SU7300, this GPU (Graphic Processor Unit) should allow a high autonomy. Samsung announces 9 hours of battery usage.
Available in pink or black, the X170 displays the portrait of Barbie on her shell as well as her name. For more immersion in the playful universe of the doll, the startup logo, wallpapers, icons and screensavers are bathed in the same Barbie universe. The X170 is currently only available in Korea.
