For the past few weeks, he’s been saying that a new MacBook Air is in preparation. Several sources also indicate that Apple may announce this 2018 model at the Developer Conference (WWDC). In addition, the device in question would benefit from a screen Retina.

We owe the announcement of a new MacBook Air to Ming-Chi Kuo. In a recent research note, the KGI Securities analyst says the model would be cheaper than the current version. DigiTimes reinforces the analyst’s words. The Taiwanese daily gives details of a new mid-range Apple computer. The mentioned model would have a 13.3 inch screen for a definition of 2500 x 1600 pixels.

In addition, the South Korean manufacturer LG would supply the screen for this new MacBook Air. As a reminder, it already equips several Apple brand computers. Based on this information, DigiTimes concludes that the MacBook Air expected this year would use a Retina display.

Of course, Apple has made no comments in response to this speculation. Observers are therefore awaiting the opening keynote of the Developer Conference for confirmation. The apple brand would take the opportunity to announce the future MacBook Air.
