WWDC 2017: Apple’s Mac Pro-style connected speaker unveiled?

In order to compete with theEcho ofAmazon, Apple would consider launching its own connected speaker. This should include the apple brand voice assistant, Siri, to offer new features to users. According to recent rumors, the development of the device is progressing well.

Sonny Dickson, renowned leaker in the apple community, made some revelations regarding this future product. The man confided in Jen Ryall, a columnist of the American site Mashable.

According to Dickson’s information, the Cupertino firm’s connected speaker would borrow the design of the Mac Pro from 2013. It would also take up a concept of the UE Boom from Ultimate Ears, namely loudspeakers covering the entire cylinder. It also announces a concave shape for the upper part of the device.

Regarding performance, Apple would have opted for a technology of Beats to ensure excellent sound quality. The apple brand is expected to benefit from the next Developer Conference in June (WWDC 2017) to introduce the device, according to Dickson. Information confirmed by analyst Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities.

The presentation of other new features is also on the program of the opening keynote. Indeed, Apple will take the opportunity to introduce the public to the next major versions of its operating systems, namely iOS 11, watchOS 4, macOS 10.13 and tvOS 11.
