Microsoft has just released the last major update for Windows 10 in 2020: the 2004 version. This version is initially available for users of versions 1903 and 1909. However, there are some problems that persist on this new version. Blue screens, standby problems, slowdown of the computer at startup … Some owners of Windows 10 should therefore wait again before performing the update.

A large-scale problem
Windows exists on billions of computers with billions of possible hardware combinations, making it more difficult for Microsoft to have a perfect deployment. However, some bugs are so glaring that it’s amazing that they escaped Windows programmers. Fortunately, Microsoft quickly informed users about the problems reported in order to prevent updates from reaching affected systems. A simple solution
Although accessible to all, only a small handful of users have read this exhaustive list. Microsoft therefore did not put in place means forcing the update, by maintaining it optional. It is also possible to uninstall the 2004 version without affecting the profile data. Indeed, during the uninstall, Windows modifies the file extension necessary for the identity of a profile and transforms it into a temporary file. Faced with these computer faults, patience is the best solution. We would have to wait for the official corrections from Windows.
