Exit there is a little moreone week in the form of a beta version, then a final version for the latest Lumia, the Windows 10 Mobile 10586.29 won’t last long. After many complaints from Internet users, Microsoft has just decided to withdraw the update in question.
If Windows 10 Mobile version 10586.29 set some worries (especially regarding Microsoft Edge or the Bluethooth connection), it also introduced a new one. In fact, the update simply refuses to download on the Lumia 950 due to a problem of “low storage” on the device. And this is not an isolated case, since the problem has been noted by dozens of Internet users who have been on the microsoft site. And for some users (as is the case for us, even via Windows Insider), the update does not even appear. Consequently, Microsoft has just suspended the download of the update in question:“We are aware of the problems with the recently released Windows 10 Mobile update: update not offered, update blocked at 0% download or low storage notification.” The team is working on short-term upgrade fixes and improvements for future releases. In the meantime, we have removed the update for Windows 10 Mobile 10586.29 from our public servers, the time to work on bug reports. If you still see the notification concerning the low storage space: as annoying as it may appear, you can safely ignore this message. If you see any pending updates (OS or applications), be sure to plug your phone into a charger and leave the device until the operation takes place. “Microsoft does not provide further details on how to resolve the problem. We bet that it will be resolved very quickly, since update 10586.29 remains interesting in terms of bug fixes.
