Wi-Fi 6 (WiFi 802.11ax) & Face ID improved on the iPhone XI of 2019?

In recent days, rumors around the iPhone of 2019 are increasing. Earlier this month, we learned thatApple was going to present a smartphone equipped with three cameras on the back (read: A triple photo sensor on the iPhone XI Max according to the Wall Street Journal). The apple brand could also improve the connectivity of future iPhone.

Bank analysts Barclays recently mentioned support for Wi-Fi 6 (the name “mainstream” of Wi-Fi 802.11ax), which allows speeds of up to 10 Gb / s. This new generation of wireless network could compensate for the absence of 5G on the next iPhone. It is the latest Wi-Fi connectivity standard, the most common on routers currently on the market. Note that the iPhone XS / XS Max and XR are equipped with Wi-Fi 5 support (Wi-Fi 802.11ac).

In addition, the predictions of the famous analyst Ming-Chi Kuo indicate that the iPhone of 2019 would include an improved Face ID. Apple is expected to increase ” the power of flood lighting to minimize the possibility that ambient light could interfere with face identification

Kuo also explains that the iPhone XI (or iPhone 11) would use a new PI approach for antennas, switching from liquid crystal antennas to MPI polymer antennas for better performance. According to rumors published so far, the next iPhone should therefore have a smaller notch, an improved Face ID, up to 3 cameras and support for Wi-Fi 6.
