Less than 200 euros: the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7

The Chinese brand Xiaomi has established itself, in just a few years, as a tenor in the universe of the smartphone. And with the Redmi Note 7, the firm intends to reign supreme among the entry-level models. Three strong points to remember about this smartphone: its autonomy which, with a 4000 mAh battery compatible with fast charging (30 minutes to recover 35%!), Works miracles; its performance which, for an entry level, is as good as a solid mid-range (it is positioned just below the Samsung Galaxy S7); and its 6.3 inch LCD screen which benefits from a beautiful brightness and a Full HD + definition of 2340 x 1080 pixels. However, its weak point is the photo: despite a 48-megapixel sensor, do not expect great results.

The best mid-range: the Xiaomi Pocophone F1

Behind this name which can lend a smile hides a beautiful little lot that awaits you. Available on the market at around 300 euros, the Xiaomi Pocophone F1 is excellent value for money. If it does not work miracles in any particular theme, it is nonetheless extremely balanced and efficient. Its 6.18 inch LCD screen with a definition of 2246 x 1080 pixels largely holds the road. But its biggest strengths is its Snapdragon 845 processor with 6 GB of memory, allowing games like Fortnite or PUBG to run at 40 FPS in ultra quality, and its autonomy: with its 4000 mAh battery, it holds 10.5 hours during heavy use. Compatible with Quick Charge 3.0. However, do not expect anything from its sound, which is not really stereo.

The best premium smartphone: iPhone XS Max

While waiting for the next generation, Apple is doing the best in the portable sector: the iPhone. And with its XS Max iteration, the apple brand continues to push the boundaries of the impossible. Beautiful, tall, powerful, it has everything for it and can only seduce you. With its 6.5-inch OLED screen and its resolution of 2688 x 1242 pixels, it is impossible to be disappointed: everything is fine, and everything is eaten without hunger. With an immersive stereo and a new all-purpose chip, you can use this iPhone XS Max in all situations. Let’s not forget iOS, which alone could motivate this purchase. A purchase which, unfortunately, will cost you an arm. Another weak point: it does not have a Jack plug. A weak point which we could have done without cost exceeding 1000 euros.

Our advice: don’t forget to insure your mobile

Whatever your choice in terms of smartphone: whether it costs 200 or 1000 euros, your mobile phone must be insured.
