The decision to remove the old-school emoticons available in the doodle maker comes after improvements to Doodle’s user interface in WhatsApp in its beta version 2.19.106, WABetaInfo reported on Friday.

Lately, WhatsApp was testing and introducing a host of new features on the beta as well as public versions of the app.

Recently it has been added to allow users to choose a total of 30 audio files to send simultaneously. Previously, users could only share one audio file at a time.

The app is already running on the long-awaited iPad support which is tested with features including Touch ID support, split screen mode, and landscape mode.
