After the first smartphones with 2K screen in 2014, it's UHD / 4K's turn to start manifesting this year. And as often, Samsung should be among the pioneers.
While the announcement of Galaxy S6 is expected to occur in the coming weeks and that rumor of a variant Galaxy S6 Edge with a stretched display on the edges intrigues observers, the Korean group Samsung could have other surprises in its boxes.
Evolving at a rapid rate, the resolution of mobile screens increases almost every year. From HD to Full HD, the first smartphones with display QHD / 2K appeared in 2014, while 2015 should see the arrival of the first devices with displays UHD / 4K.
And precisely, Samsung seems to prepare a mobile device bearing the reference SM-Z6400 with a screen in 4K resolution (3480 x 2160 pixels) and onboard a processor SnapDragon 810 top of the range supplied by Qualcomm.
The nature of the device is not known (smartphone, tablet, gadget …) but it should be noted that analysts expect the arrival of first 4K smartphones from this year.
