Via a message posted on Google Play, Samsung has just unveiled a whole new feature of the Samsung Flow app. Thanks to it, we can soon unlock your PC Windows 10 using his smartphone.
Microsoft recently introduced within a Windows 10 beta a new feature, which allows you to lock / unlock your PC using the Bluetooth of a smartphone. Samsung is also working on this function, and will use the fingerprint sensor of its mobiles so that the user can unlock the computer. The Korean manufacturer had already introduced such a feature, but reserved it for its Galaxy TabPro S. The good news is that it will soon be open to all Windows 10 PCs. The operation will take place using the app Samsung flow, which has existed for two years on all Galaxy smartphones and tablets. Originally, this application simply synchronized data between two devices. The new version of Samsung Flow will therefore be enriched with a PC unlocking function, which will operate by simply placing your finger on your smartphone or tablet. The mobile will therefore make it possible to get rid of a fingerprint reader.
This new functionality will be integrated into the April update from Samsung Flow. Note that it will nevertheless be necessary to have a Galaxy with fingerprint sensor, which is not the case with the old models.
