Vivo X60: Vivo and Zeiss announce a major partnership for smartphone photography

Vivo could strike hard for its next smartphone in the field of photography. The Chinese brand has indeed announced a partnership with Zeiss, the German optical giant. The first joint product will be presented on December 17, and all eyes are obviously on the Vivo X60.

Vivo is focusing on photography, especially with its recent X51, which is very good in this area. The Chinese brand could go even further with its X60 range. Indeed, she announced a partnership with the German optical giant, Zeiss, which will materialize on December 17th.

It was on Instagram that the brand teased the deal. She thus indicates that she will announce something exciting to us in a few days, more particularly on December 17th. Eyes turn obviously towards the Vivo X60, which would rely even more on the photo than its predecessor. The visual accompanying the publication leaves in any case very little doubt about the nature of this agreement: it will concern smartphones.

The Vivo X51 launched the brand in France. The terminal relies heavily on the photo and seduced us with its gimbal stabilizer and high quality sensor. By signing a partnership with Zeiss, Vivo strikes hard and shows its ambition in the field. In some ways, this deal is reminiscent of the one between Huawei and Leica, the Chinese firm also focusing a lot on this aspect.

The Vivo X60, the new king of photography?

As Android Police indicates, Zeiss is already a partner of HMD Global and works in particular on smartphones with the Nokia logo. It is not known if this one will still be relevant or so Vivo has signed an exclusive partnership.

The Vivo X60 would be available in two versions: Classic X60 and X60 Pro. It had to be equipped with an Exynos 1080 processor from Samsung. The X60 would adopt a flat screen while the Pro would have a curved panel on the sides. Both would carry a 4000 mAh battery with fast charging of 33 watts as well as Android 11 with the Origin OS overlay. But it will of course be on the photo that the two products will be scrutinized.
