First, here is the list of new features in the R12 version of iPhDroid:

  • Ability to install Android 2.2 (Froyo, the latest Android OS)
  • IBoot update (graphic update and optimization)
  • Compatible iOS 4
  • It no longer uses a disk partition (it is now cleaner for the iPhone)
  • Addition of a test mode (use once and only once then automatic uninstall)

New in R13:

  • IPhone v1 support added
  • It seems that the software only requires a single click to install Android, but we have not had confirmation (see photo above)

Prerequisites:

  • An iPhone jailbroken in 3.1.2 using BlackRa1n (and yes, it’s all old ..)
  • OpenSSH installed
  • MacFuse for Mac
  • iPhDroid 0.6 beta R13 -> Coming soon

To avoid any problems, deactivate the automatic locking of your iPhone.

Step 1

Simply launch the software, connect your device via USB, and click on “Shoot! ” That’s all 😉
