As you know, it is currently possible to install Android Froyo 2.2.1 on an iPhone 2G / 3G.
Here’s how to do it, without even using a computer 😉
- A jailbroken iPhone 2G with firmware 3.1.2 or 3.1.3
A jailbroken iPhone 3G with firmware 3.1.2, 3.1.3, 4.0, 4.0.1, 4.0.2 or 4.1
You need a jailberake device.
Launch Cydia and add the source http://repo.neonkoala.co.uk/
Once the source added, install “Bootlace”
Once installed, launch the Bootlace application from your SpringBoard:
Go to the “Open iBoot” tab and click on the button [Install]. A download should start:
Once Open iBoot downloaded and installed, go to the “iDroid” tab.
Then click on [Install].
Once downloaded and installed, go to the “QuickBoot” tab.
Click on the Android logo to see your iPhone turn off and boot on Android 😉
It’s as simple as that 😉
You will be able to enjoy Android and iOS on the same device: at startup, Open iBoot will ask you if you want to boot between Android or iOS.
