As you probably already know, the iphone3GSystem blog has its iPhone application.
With iPhAccess, you can find the blog, the forum, follow Apple’s KeyNotes, join us via a contact form and finally follow our twitter. The application is totally free and offer the Push to notify you of the latest news!
But unfortunately, the default icon looks very bad on iPhone 4 because it is pixelated.
Here is a mini-tutorial allowing you to find an alternative while waiting for the HD version of iPhAccess;)
Prerequisites:
- A jailbroken iPhone 4
- SBSettings installed
- Know how to connect in SSH via fileZilla or WinSCP for example
- This file
Step 1
First, we will have to find the path to the iPhAccess application.
To do this, launch SBSettings and touch the “more” button.
2nd step
Then go to the tab called “AppFolder” at the bottom. Find iPhAccess and tap it. You should see the path appear:
Stage 3
Connect in SSH to your iPhone 4 and follow the path indicated by SBSettings (here: “/private/var/mobile/Applications/B254235C-A63D-4931-A390-62990979A22E/iPhAccess.app”).
Step 4
On your computer, rename the previously downloaded file to “Icon.png” (/! you must respect the case /! )
Then transfer it to the folder named “iPhAccess.app”, replacing the old icon.
Step 5
Respring on your device (or reboot it), and enjoy;)
