Towards Macbooks Pro with Intel 6-core chip in 2018 – iPhone Soft

The next Macbook Pro is already in the pipeline. Scheduled for mid-2018, they will certainly not change their look (will they keep the Touch Bar?) But will improve overall performance.
If the RAM could be greater than 16 GB (finally), the new Intel i7 processors could also evolve towards 6 cores, against 4 currently. This would allow more tasks to be performed simultaneously, especially if the frequency remains at the same level.
This is the site AnandTech who unearthed a table where we see in particular two new models of Core i7 chip: 8750H and 8850H.
With its 8th generation processors called Coffe Lake and still engraved in 14nm, we would therefore go to 6 cores but also 12 MB of cache. When we know that the A11 Bionic chips of the iPhone 8 and iPhone X are engraved in 10nm and offer the same power almost, we wonder what is the interest of Apple to continue with Intel.
