Toshiba is ahead of all of its competitors by launching the very first laptop PC displaying 3D without glasses. This is the Dynabook Quosmio T851 / D8CR, capable of displaying 3D, currently limited to one window. The rest of the screen is displayed in 2D. This device incorporates a 2.4 GHz Core i5 chip, while the management of 3D has been entrusted to a derivative of CELL, the processor embedded in the PS3.
There are also three USB 2.0 ports and a single USB 3.0, an HDMI output, Harmann Kardon speakers, a 15.6 inch screen, 8 GB of memory and a 750 GB hard drive. Toshiba will market the Dynabook Quosmio at the end for the month of July in Japan without specifying whether it would be available on other markets. No price is currently known.
