Top 5 Apps to Make Instagram Quotes for Android and iOS

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. However, sometimes it takes a little more than a picture to convey the full meaning. Usually a witty caption completes the picture , while at other times an image needs something more than just a catchy caption. This is when images with quotes or text come into play.

Yes, I’m talking about those beautiful images with neat little text, which tells the full story without you having to read the long (and sometimes boring) captions. Plus, you get a whole new variety of posts to share with your followers.

In this post today, we have compiled five such apps for Android and iOS, which will help you create gorgeous images with text for your Insta statuses. Let’s start!

Top 5 Apps to Make Instagram Quotes for Android and iOS

1. CANVA (IOS AND ANDROID)

Canva is one of the first names that comes to mind when I talk about quotes or pictures with text. Until last year, Canva was an online tool, however, 2017 saw this app launched on both the iOS and Android platform.

This app has a large number of preloaded templates, both free and paid. All you have to do is select a template, write the text and save your image. For those who want to explore, Canva has plenty of additional options.

From changing the text font and color to selecting additional graphics and images, Canva lets you do it all. Not to mention that it lets you layer text like a pro.

The feature I find the best is that you can actually search for a template’s theme, instead of browsing through dozens and hundreds of different templates. Also, some quotes are so beautiful, you can use them right away with some minor edits. And yes, Canva also lets you upload your own photos.

The app is free, however, you may need to pay for some models. Plus, it doesn’t have any ads, which makes it all the more impressive.

2. QUOTE CREATOR (ANDROID)

The next app on our list is Quote Maker. Similar to Canva, this app lets you choose from a plethora of pre-loaded templates and fonts. Needless to say, this app also lets you upload your own photos from the gallery.

The point where it differs from Canva is that you have to put your own quotes and sayings and the number of templates is quite limited. However, do not let this stop you from trying this app.

Quotes Creator has a ton of tools for customize images , such as selecting text color, font alignment, font size, etc. The application is simple and easy to use. The only problem is that the app applies its own watermarks, even on the photos you upload.

3. TEXTGRAM (ANDROID)

If you are looking for a no-frills app for creating cool Instagram quotes, then Textgram will do the trick. This app does not have the style of Canva and Quotes Creator but has all the important tools for font, color, text overlay, etc.

The image library is not that huge. The good thing is that you can use your own images. One element of surprise in this app is the Randomize tool, which (as you guessed it) picks up random images from its library.

4.IMAGEQUOTE (IOS)

ImageQuote is a simple app that doesn’t have too many templates, but composes it with its wide array of text styles. Their ability to use your own images as usual.

What I really liked about this app is that unlike the apps above, you won’t have to write captions or quotes. There is a little random tool that collects catchy little quotes on its own.

All you have to do is pick one, then pick the font, styles, colors etc and share it on Instagram!

5. PAINT PAPER STUDIO (IOS)

Paint Paper Studio is for you if you’re looking to put a few short phrases (and not necessarily quotes) on your photos. It doesn’t have its own template, so you need to download a snapshot. What it does have, however, is an awesome collection of stickers, doodles, and phrases.

What makes it interesting are the trendy fonts (unlike all of the above) and the elegant way they were written.

If you are looking for cool fonts for your images, this is the one. The only problem with this app is that you can’t choose your own adages.

SHARE, FRIENDS!

So, these are some of the apps that let you capture that perfect moment between eye-catching caption and gorgeous image. So which of them are you going to download?
