Through this tutorial, learn how to restore the factory default settings of the iOS keyboard dictionary for iPhone or iPad.
The dictionary for the iOS keyboard is a very practical tool. By memorizing the words that you often use, it allows over time to simplify the writing of messages and other texts. However, it may happen that this dictionary memorizes words that you do not want. Abbreviations, proper names, or words that simply do not exist. In this situation, it is impossible to delete a particular word. The only solution is to restore the dictionary to the factory default settings, which allows you to clean up once and for all and start off on a healthy basis. Here’s how to do it.
Step 1: Open the Settings application and go to General.
Step 2: Choose the Restore section, then Restore the keyboard dictionary.
Step 3: iOS asks you to enter the password.
Step 4: Enter the password, and validate the request. The keyboard dictionary is now reset.
