Headphones AirPods had been unveiled at the same time as the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus and offer an alternative to the disappearance of the 3.5 mm jack with the possibility of having a Bluetooth wireless system with headsets not connected by a cable.
They embed a dedicated chip Apple W1 (a first) and are recognized in iCloud as a mobile device, simplifying the pairing and connection procedures. Announced for the end of October, the AirPods missed their shooting window, raising fears of a launch after the holiday season.
The Wall street journal recently claimed that problems with connection reliability and sound synchronization between the two headsets could force Apple to postpone the marketing of its product.
The Cupertino group, however, has the option of ordering AirPods wireless headphones from its online portal Apple Store. Marketed at the price of 179 € tax incl., their delivery date is estimated at December 20, finally giving them time to get to the bottom of the tree. However, they have not yet appeared at resellers.
