The Timeline of the pages visible in the Facebook application for iPhone

The first social network now offers the display of the Timeline of pages within its iPhone application. We will still have to wait for the iPad version which is slow to evolve.

A nice little change in the Facebook iPhone app. Indeed, since this weekend, it is now possible to see the pages displayed in the form of the Timeline (timeline), like the web version, at least some details.

Thus, you will now be able to see, from your iPhone, the cover of the pages, the “About” section which contains all the information on the page, a “Like” button now displayed with more impact, the calendar of events and the “Photos” folder which contains all the photos published on the page wall, as well as the albums.

While the Timeline arrived on the social network late last year, the latter arrived in the iPhone application (for profiles) only in February. At the end of June, New york times has rvl that Facebook was flooring on the complete rewrite of its application because of its slowness castigates by its users.

It remains to be seen whether Facebook intends to change the aspect of its application dedicated to the iPad, which has not changed since its arrival in October.

note that this change also affects the mobile web version of Facebook (see screenshot above).

Download the Facebook app for iOS on the App Store (universal app).
