Counterfeit smartphones are legion on the market, and against all expectations, it is not necessarily the iPhone that is the most copied smartphone in the world. According to figures reported by AnTuTu, it would be Samsung which was the subject of more copies during the year 2017.
We thus discover that 36.23% of smartphones having launched an AnTuTu test last year were actually fake Samsung smartphones. Data was collected from 17.5 million connections to AnTuTu's servers last year. Of the total, 2.6% of connected smartphones were copies of existing models.
