You know: Amazon has secured the rights to produce a series in The Lord of the Rings universe for $ 250 million. However a new bone to gnaw has just fallen : the specialized blog The One Ring has just unveiled what the site presents as the official synopsis of the series. If this is confirmed, the plot of the series will be temporally very distant from the films – and we should therefore discover especially new characters, with in the end something that mainly keeps the same flavor as the films.
