After a 15 inch model launched in 2009, GScreen returns with a new SpaceBook: a laptop with two 17 inch screens.
The goal of this system is to provide maximum workspace on the go. Transport is compact since the two screens slide one on top of the other which allows the SpaceBook to close easily. However, her measurements are another story. With 4.7 cm thick and a weight of 4.5 kg, we will speak more of a portable computer than portable.
Under its hull are locked two configurations to choose from. Either a Core i5 processor clocked at 2.66 GHz and its 4 GB of RAM, or a Core i7 at 1.73 GHz and 8 GB of Ram. All this is accompanied by a GeForce GTX 250M for graphics card and a 500 GB hard drive at 7200 rpm. With such components, there is no doubt that autonomy is not the strength of the SpaceBook.
Available across the Atlantic, the SpaceBook is sold there around € 1,700 in Core i5 and € 2,000 in Core i7. No announcements were made for the French market.
