Here is a new patent registered by USPTO and Apple agreement. This patent discloses a device that allows to control a car connected via an iPhone.
As for the Tesla S for example, we can open the doors, start the engine, start the heating, etc.
Accessing a vehicle using portable devices, the patent clearly states that you will have access to your Apple Car via the iPhone. Via this solution, one could even prter his car and allow another iPhone as a starter.
A priori, connections will be via the traditional Bluetooth LE. Now, wait a long time before seeing the Apple Car!
