The symbolic bar was therefore crossed by the Japanese when Asus was the first to mention it in a press release, but the Asus S121 being still absent, it is Toshiba who is entitled to the honors.

Dynabook SS-RX2: a technological showcase

Toshiba will not be entitled to much else, because an SSD with such a capacity is very expensive and such a computer is more a technological showcase than anything else. As for the features, we are talking about a 12.1 inch laptop with a twelve hour autonomy and a chassis with a thickness of 25 mm, all for a weight of 1.1 kg. The laptop costs $ 4,400 (the SSD itself is around $ 1,500) and is currently only sold in Japan.
