The city of Amsterdam is about to see the first Apple Store in the Benelux. Apple has yet to announce its opening date, which is nonetheless imminent.
We would have hoped that this first was dedicated to the Capital of Europe, our good old city of Brussels. Against all odds, it is rather the capital of the Netherlands which has been designated as the first city in the Benelux to host an Apple Store. If we believe the information reported today by our colleagues on the site iPhoneClub.nl, the works of the future boutique, located on the Leidseplein, are about to be completed. Originally slated to open late last year, construction is said to have taken a slight delay. Anyway, almost everything would be ready. The official opening is expected to take place within two weeks. A final detail, this Apple Store is located in an old bank where the third floor already houses the offices of Apple Benelux.
