The smartphone OnePlus 2 is expected in the third quarter of the year and the manufacturer is gradually revealing its specifics. After the processor SnapDragon 810 and the port USB Type-C, the OnePlus brand confirms a function that had been foreseen some time ago: the fingerprint reader.
And as expected, OnePlus highlights the performance of its module compared to the many fingerprint readers present in smartphones but not necessarily very effective, and therefore often neglected.
In the case of the OnePlus 2, the fingerprint reader is presented as faster than the Touch ID Apple to unlock the terminal, and able to register up to 5 fingerprints. OnePlus first highlights the security aspect of this feature. The OnePlus 2 smartphone will be presented on July 27.
