In anticipation of World AIDS Day, which will be held on December 1, Apple has started to wear red the logo of its Apple Store.
The red Apple logos are an annual tradition and mark one of the rare times when Apple changes the colors of its logo. The photos of the Apple Store with the red logos began appearing on Twitter and Instagram and, as of December 1, many stores will temporarily wear this color.
Last year, Apple turned 125 Apple Store logos into red, while another 400 had red stickers on their logos.
Next week, Apple will promote World AIDS Day in its stores. From November 25 to December 2, Apple will pay $ 1 (RED) for every purchase made with Apple Pay on Apple.com, the Apple Store App and Apple Stores, for a total of $ 1 million.
(RED) has long been a partner of the Apple charity and since 2006, Apple has raised more than $ 220 million through promotions like this one and through the sale of branded products and accessories (RED). Funds raised by (RED) are allocated to HIV / AIDS programs in Africa under the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.
