If the Nexus family of Google had marked the spirits in 2013 by their very attractive price in terms of performance, the 2014 lineage, consisting of the Nexus 6 smartphone and the tablet Nexus 9, returns to positioning more in line with market practices.

In this context, which no longer places excessive emphasis on the price to stand out and no longer risks creating a big gap between Nexus products and those of the segment, it is therefore on the intrinsic qualities of the devices and on the availability ofAndroid Lollipop, the latest version of Google's mobile OS, that plays their success.

For the Nexus 9 tablet, Asus gives way to Htc which is making a comeback in the touchscreen segment, after a short presence in 2011-2012 which had arguments, such as the presence of a stylus, but lacked impact.

With the Nexus 9 tablet, HTC therefore always poses as a reference partner from Google (the manufacturer had already launched in 2008 the very first Android smartphone) but also as a manufacturer capable of meeting precise specifications recalling its origins as a manufacturer of white label mobile devices.
