Steve Jobs was a big fan of music and as a leader in Silicon Valley, he would be interested in the market for headphones.
While the founder of Apple died in 2011 and Beats was bought by the brand in the apple in 2014, this did not stop the former friend of Steve Wozniak to try the famous XXL headphones . A photo brings the proof of it today.

This mini-scoop on Jobs comes from the documentary The Defiant Ones from HBO.
It was Jimmy Iovine himself who told the story, explaining that he had urged all his friends to try the new helmets his company was developing. And among those close, there was Steve Jobs.
We imagine that Steve Jobs preferred the marketing campaign with the support of many personalities rather than the sound quality or the design of these headsets.
