Almost a year after the standard version, Simon & Schuster publishers announce that the pocket model of Steve Jobs’ biography written by Walter Isaacson should be released in the United States on September 10. Hopefully a launch in France in stride.
In addition to the release date, we now know that the cover for this edition will be different. Indeed, we can see there Steve Jobs exactly in the same posture as on the old one but with twenty years less. For connoisseurs, the photo dates from 1984 and was taken at the time by Norman Seeff. There is no doubt that this pocket format is successful, to see the nearly 380,000 copies sold in the first week after the release of the original book in bookstores.
For the record, this biography was produced according to an idea of Steve Jobs himself by the former editor-in-chief of CNN and the Time Magazine, Walter Isaacson. The author who rubbed shoulders with the late CEO ofApple several times during the end of his life, the story is therefore much less romanticized than the film JOBS to be released this year at the cinema.
There are many new photographs, but also personal and psychological elements of man to better understand the personality of this genius that was Jobs.
