While rumors of the past few months have been that production of the fifth-generation iPhone will start in July, it may finally begin sometime in August. The iPhone 5, it would be well planned to be marketed from September.
Katy Huberty, an analyst at Morgan Stanley, recently polled her Asian sources. According to her, the Cupertino company will kick off production of the iPhone 5 as early as August and add that it is very likely to see a reduced-cost iPhone model arrive (iPhone 4 8Gb?) . The latter also claims that Apple expects a big increase in iPhone sales in 2012.
According to the same source, a television stamped with the apple seal is effectively in the “early” development phase at Apple. No one knows yet when such a product could be made available and under what OS it could run.
We discuss it on the forum.
