Sony plans to soon launch two new E-Book readers, the PRS-350 and PRS-650. They will be responsible for renewing the range of the manufacturer in the field of digital books.
Sony switches to touch
The great novelty of these two new models comes from the screen, which finally switches to the touch screen, making the scroll wheel disappear. This screen that promises higher quality should benefit from the ink technology used by Amazon for Kindle. Note that several colors will be available.
As for the technical specifications, these two tablets should integrate up to 2 GB of storage space, which would correspond to around 1200 pounds. The device will have both a Wi-Fi and 3G connection and the battery has been announced with better autonomy, capable of displaying up to 10,000 pages. Finally, the device can manage PDF files and apply an intelligent zoom to them. For the moment, no information has filtered on the price or the release date of these two new e-readers.
