Here it is finally the smartphone codenamed Ferrari that Xiaomi was to present this Thursday. No Mi 5 model, however. This is indeed the Mi 4i, light version of the Mi 4 launched in August 2014.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 platform has been replaced by the Qualcomm platform Snapdragon 615 with its 64-bit octocore processor (4 x A53 at 1.7 GHz + 4 x A53 at 1.1 GHz) coupled with 2 GB of RAM, its Adreno 405 GPU and its modem 4G / LTE at 150 Mbit / s.
For the rest, there are also some changes, with the front camera which goes from 8 to 5 Megapixels, a single capacity of 16 GB when it was possible to opt for 64 GB and the transition to two SIM slots. Otherwise, we keep the screen 5 inches by 1,920 x 1,080 pixels (441 ppi resolution) and the 13 Megapixel photo sensor on the back. The battery does not move much, going from 3,080 to 3,120 mAh.
As for the OS, it’s aboutAndroid 5.0 Lollipop with MUI 6.0 graphics overlay.

Availability will occur on April 30, in India, for the equivalent of 200 euros. International distribution has not been specified at this time. Five colors will be offered: white, blue, yellow, orange and pink.
