Touch pads are flourishing, but few of them offer real innovations. Without stepping into the race for technology, the manufacturer Realease could shake up the current marketing habits of a sector in full expansion.

With Shogo, the manufacturer based in Hong-Kong offers to customize its products, for any order greater than 1000 units. This touchscreen tablet, with a 10.1 inch multitouch screen, with a resolution of 1024 × 600 and running on Linux 2.6.28, exists in several models of internal memory (1, 2, 4 or 8GB) and battery (1, 2 or 4 hours).

A $ 500 model for individuals

Logically, the price of the tablet depends on the desired configuration, and certain functions can be sacrificed (Bluetooth, WiFi or accelerometer) to obtain an attractive price. Even the packaging can be personalized. Individuals will also be able to get the tablet next August for $ 500 (excluding shipping costs), the following are the fixed characteristics.
