This afternoon at 5 p.m., Apple will release its music streaming service, dubbed Apple Music (read: iOS 8.4: Tuesday release with Apple Music, Beats 1 & Connect). For the occasion, Shazam, the famous music recognition application (and TV shows recently) has been updated to version 8.7, to support the future platform of Apple. It offers, in the same way as for Deezer and that for Spotify, a link to Apple Music, when music is ?Shazamee?.
This update is the result of a partnership between the Cupertino company and Shazam. We have already heard of other links between the two companies, particularly with Siri. Now, Apple?s voice assistant can directly recognize a song, and redirect to Shazam afterwards. This new alliance therefore continues the agreement between the two companies.
In this update, Shazam indicates that Apple Music is offered free for 3 months, in order to be tested. In addition, a counter of the number of people having ?Shazame? a song is now available before each title. Users can also subscribe to their favorite artists, in order to be kept informed of their news and other content they publish.
