Definitely, Apple does not finish with the updates at this time … After having proposed a new version of its music creation application Garageband, it is the turn of two of its MacOS versions.
Although these are less interesting than that of Garageband, they are no less important since it is about security.
Goodbye the KRACK fault on El Capitan and Sierra
Apple released two new fixes yesterday for two of its MacOS versions: El Capitan and Sierra. These fixes were quite urgent given that they resolve the Wi-Fi KRACK (Key Reinstallation Attack) flaw, a very large WPA2 security flaw allowing to read or send packets exchanged under the Internet connection and therefore to have access to the detail of the use or to edit requests to attract the user towards a false site.
The update is therefore highly recommended for owners of these versions of MacOS: you can find it directly on the Mac App Store, in the Updates tab.
Do not forget to make a Time Machine backup before updating, some users seem to have encountered problems during the installation of this new version.
