Saved at sea with your iPhone

Sometimes smartphones really save lives. The mishap of Rachel Neal, an American citizen, and her friends can attest to this. As he was sailing off Okinawa, the boat of this small group capsized. The sea was very rough, and without help, their hope of survival was very low. Fortunately, Ms. Neal was able to count on the manufacturing quality of her iPhone, which despite a good sea rise was still in working order. The lucky woman was therefore able to call the coastguards, who quickly came to the rescue.

To the young woman’s credit, let’s add thatit does not owe its survival to the tightness of its smartphone and the speed of rescue. Interviewed in The Today Show on NBC, Rachel Neal demonstrates thatshe was ready for any eventuality. She declares that she always has a waterproof bag with her, in which the smartphones are stored. Despite this protection, after having jumped into the water, only Rachel’s iPhone was still in working order. Following this adventure, the survivor splitan email to Tim Cook, thanking him for the quality of Apple products.
