It would almost become a bad habit. The fact remains that despite the upcoming meeting of CEOs of Samsung and Apple in California, where they are supposed to end the legal actions, Samsung has decided to sue Apple again with no less than 8 patents this time.
Last February, Apple attacked Samsung with a new series of patents, among which there were two “FRAND” (standard patents – essential, that nobody takes to court). With a little delay, Samsung replied by bringing eight new patents to the California court. Among these, a nod from Apple, two FRAN patents. Patents seem rather general, as evidenced by the “synchronization of multimedia content on several devices”, which suggests that the case will probably not go very far before the courts, Apple and Samsung not yet won important heats in their showdowns in the United States.
