Safari, the internet browser entirely designed by Apple, as well as the iCloud dashboard (functionality of iOS 5) have both been updated.
Let's find out together what the updates bring.
Regarding Safari 5:
This update brings various improvements, including:
- improved stability;
- resolution of problems likely to cause blockages and excessive use of memory;
- resolution of problems likely to cause an intermittent blank display of web pages;
- possibility to display PDF files within web content.
As for the update of iCloud dashboard, Apple doesn't tell us anything new and just reminds us what it's for iCloud :
- The iCloud dashboard is required to use the photo stream, contacts and calendars (Microsoft Outlook 2007 or later required) and favorites (Safari 5.1.1 or Internet Explorer 8 or later required). Note: to create an account iCloud, you need an iPhone, an iPad or an iPod touch running iOS 5 or a Mac running Mac OS X Lion 10.7.2.
In order to be able to take advantage of these updates, simply click on “Start”, then type “Apple Software Update” in the search box and launch the software. The latter will launch a search to display you if updates are available or not. Finally, all you have to do is click on "install 2 elements".
