Root of the Samsung Galaxy Note

Root of the Samsung Galaxy Note

The Samsung Galaxy Note is the first phablette Android. Its success has been standard, and even if Note 2 is out and we are now talking about a Note 3 for the coming months, this one is more than ever updated: it has just been updated officially with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. Here is a tutorial for the rooter!

Warning

<p style=Root is a risk, if you do not follow the procedure properly, you may end up with an unusable phone. Likewise, there is normally no loss of data with this method, but with caution as a precaution, save all your data beforehand. Neither AndroidPIT nor I can be held responsible for anything.

Both procedures are only valid for the Samsung Galaxy Note N7000.

First of all, know that there are two methods, one that implements the flash counter, that is to say that the Samsung SAV can see that you have root your Galaxy Note, and another that leaves no trace. The only difference, you have to have an external microSD card available for the second method.

First method (increases the flash counter)

For those who know, it's classic Odin / Samsung.

1. Download the file that corresponds to the version of your build number on the Phil3759 site. To check the version, go to settings > About the phone

VersionKernel "sizes =" (max-width: 806px) calc (100vw - 24px), (max-width: 995px) 782px, (max-width: 1216px) calc ((2 * (100vw - 30px) / 3) + 15px - 24px), 782px "src =" https://fscl01.fonpit.de/userfiles/3190240/image/VersionKernel-w782.png "srcset =" https://fscl01.fonpit.de/userfiles/3190240/image/ VersionKernel-w782.png 782w, https://fscl01.fonpit.de/userfiles/3190240/image/VersionKernel-w596.png 596w, https://fscl01.fonpit.de/userfiles/3190240/image/VersionKernel-w450. png 450w, https://fscl01.fonpit.de/userfiles/3190240/image/VersionKernel-w336.png 336w, https://fscl01.fonpit.de/userfiles/3190240/image/VersionKernel-w300.png 300w "class = "lazyload" />
Version number:
XXLT4 / AndroidPIT

<p style=For me, it will be the PhilZ-cwm6-XXLT4-OXA-4.93.6.tar.md5, because my build number is the JZ054K.N7000XXLT4. Take the version in .tar.md5 for this method.

2. Download and unpack ODIN 3.043. Launch ODIN4. Once done, put your Galaxy Note in download mode (turn off the device, wait for it to vibrate and press low volume + home + power)5. Connect your Note via your microUSB cable to your PC and wait for Windows to recognize it correctly

pereproshivka note

The blue box indicates that your Galaxy Note is recognized by ODIN / AndroidPIT

6. Click on PDA, and get the file downloaded higher7. Do not tick any other box, everything should look like the picture on Odin8. Click Start

Your Galaxy Note is back, and it's root! Congratulations!

Second method (does not leave a trace)

Update: Here's how to proceed, in video:

1. Place your external microSD card in your Galaxy Note2. Download the file that corresponds to the version of your build number on this site. To check the version, go to Settings> About phone. For me, it will be the PhilZ-cwm6-XXLT4-OXA-4.93.6-signed, because my build number is the JZ054K.N7000XXLT4. Take the .zip version for this method.
