RockMelt: the social browser arrives on iOS

Rockmelt, the social browser based on Chromium, is now available under the firm of an iPhone application.

Launched last November, Rockmelt boasts little by little an excellent reputation among its users. Indeed, if the classic software allows its users to be able to surf the Internet as already allows its competitors (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, etc.), its strength lies in offering a connection to multiple social platforms (Facebook, Twitter, etc.) whose integration is done directly in the browser.

IPhone users who already use this Internet browser from their computer will therefore be delighted to learn that an iOS application from Rockmelt has just been made available on the App Store.

If the iOS application is focused on the social aspect which represents its flagship functionality in its classic version, the user can of course surf the Internet from the application even if the latter will nevertheless deprive him of private browsing and tabs.

Finally, the developers of Rockmelt already warn that they are preparing a version of the application suitable for the iPad.

Download the Rockmelt app for free from the App Store.

We discuss it on the forum.
