The Touch Bar of the Macbook Pro appeared at the end of 2016, with a good reception of the users in spite of an offer still a little fair level usage.
If you want to improve your productivity, know that there are "utility" type applications to bring a kind of multitasking directly on the Touch Bar. Indeed, it is possible to manage a "dock" directly on the interactive OLED bar of your Macbook Pro, either with Rocket or with TouchSwitcher.
TouchSwitcher: the Classic
TouchSwitcher faithfully replaces the APPLE + TAB command which allows you to switch between your open apps. If you open a ton, you can even drag the bar to see the rest. Note that TouchSwitcher takes the place of multimedia controls. If you want to get rid of it, just long press on it.
TouchSwitcher is free and downloads from the Mac App Store because it uses a private API.
Rocket: the little extra
While Rocket is triggered via a keyboard shortcut, it can also launch apps from the dock that have not yet been launched. This is a fundamental advantage over TouchSwitcher.
Rocket is free and can also be downloaded from the Mac App Store.
