Razer, the manufacturer of computer peripherals for computer games, has just lifted the veil on a rather ambitious project: Razer Blade. This project will mark the entry of the firm into the manufacture of computers since it has so far been limited to gaming accessories. Razer Blade is a thin, light ultraportable laptop with a sober design. It has a 17.3 inch LED screen with an HD display with a resolution of 1920 × 1080, above which there is an HD webcam. In place of the numeric keypad on the right, Blade has an LCD touch screen and 10 special buttons. As it is mainly intended for PC games, its configuration must be up to par. Blade is equipped with a 2.8 GHz Intel Core i7 2640M processor, 8GB DDR3 RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GT555M graphics card with 2GB of memory.
Razer Blade is scheduled for the end of this year with a price of around € 2,800.
